UL Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 14th, 1995 Carl Everett demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the United League Player of the Week Award. The Washington left fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .400 average (10-for-25) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. For the year Everett is batting .245 with 31 home runs. |
