League Suspends Strawberry and King for Brawl Tuesday, August 22nd, 1995 Darryl Strawberry of the Cleveland Spiders and Eric King of the Chicago Cubs received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at League Park.
So far this season Strawberry is hitting .234 with 43 home runs.
King has posted a 16-6 record for the year with a 3.62 ERA. Teams are hitting .222 against him and he has rung up 132 strikeouts in 174 innings.
