Year Over for Expos Lieber Thursday, August 24th, 1995 The season is ending on a bad note for Jon Lieber, starting pitcher for the Montreal Expos. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Lieber was hurt against the New York Mets while throwing a pitch. He suffered a sore shoulder and will be out for at least 4-5 months. So far this year Lieber has 7 wins and 4 losses and a 4.34 ERA. |
