August's Premier FL Rookie Named Thursday, September 1st, 1994 It was an awesome August for Angel Miranda. The young Texas starter surprised opponents all month and today was announced as the Federal League Rookie of the Month. In 6 starts he registered a 4-1 record and racked up 40 strikeouts and a 2.70 ERA in 43.1 innings. So far this season Miranda has compiled a 10-10 record with a 4.50 ERA. |
