Federal League Names Rookie of Month Saturday, October 1st, 1994 Damion Easley's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Cincinnati second baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .322 with 2 doubles, 1 triple and 8 home runs. Easley also scored 17 times and drove in 26 runs. In 22 games Easley is hitting .322 this season with 29 hits, 8 home runs, 26 RBIs, 6 walks, .378 OBP and has scored 17 runs. |
