UL Selects Rookie Star of the Month Saturday, October 1st, 1994 Youngster Willie Greene emerged as the latest United League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Washington deserved the honor, batting .212 with 5 home runs and 10 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Greene enjoy the limelight. This season Greene is batting .191 with 16 home runs. |
