Neagle Whitewashes St. Louis

Denny Neagle of the Kansas City Royals humiliated the St. Louis Cardinals at Royals Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said St. Louis manager Adam Rabel, after the game.
Neagle whiffed 7 and walked 2 in the 8-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Neagle said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
Up to now Neagle has recorded a record of 20-5. In 31 starts he has fanned 226 batters in 229 innings with a 3.46 ERA.
