Pilots Heading to League Championship

The Seattle Pilots out-dueled and outgunned the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Division Series and are on to the next round.
Seattle won the final game 6-5 at Kingdome and the series 4-2.
Ken Griffey Jr. was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Division Series. He had a .444 average with a .464 on-base percentage. He had 6 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 8 runs.
"I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the League Championship," he said.
The Seattle Pilots will play against the Colorado Rockies in the next round. Colorado won their series against the Montreal Expos 4 games to 2. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
