Pilots Win League Championship

By a score of 11-4, the Seattle Pilots have sealed a victory in the League Championship over the Colorado Rockies.
"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said center fielder Ken Griffey Jr. of the Pilots, who was named the series MVP. "The Rockies knew how to battle and gave us a good test."
The next test for Seattle will come in the World Series, after winning this series 4-1.
The Seattle Pilots don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the St. Louis Cardinals - Chicago Cubs series. Chicago leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes.
