Hot Bat Cooled, Tatis Hitless Against Sky Fox Thursday, May 1st, 1997 Fernando Tatis went 0-for-4 at Motors Ballpark today to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 20 games. The 22-year-old Portland third baseman failed to get a hit today in the Stag 4-2 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Fox at Motors Ballpark. Tatis did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Fernando is a little upset," Portland manager said. "He'll get over it." On the season, Tatis is batting .413 with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 29 games. |
