Veras Sensational, 5-for-5 Wednesday, April 26th, 1995 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Quilvio Veras today. Veras went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Walla Walla pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Ballpark of Milton, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Omaha Storm Chasers had a 18-5 victory over the Warriors. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Quilvio Veras walked in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Robert Person in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run triple in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
