After 34 games, Hartford right fielder Alex Ochoa saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Whalers still managed to take the win, topping the Buffalo Bisons 3-0 at Aspinwall Grounds.

"It was a good run," Ochoa said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended."

Looking at his present stats, Ochoa has compiled a .394 batting average in 54 games with a .439 on-base percentage, while hitting 15 home runs and driving in 64 runs.
