Cone Hurls Naperville to Shutout Victory

Naperville Lazy Fisherman right-hander David Cone used his full arsenal today to shoot down the New Orleans Brass 4-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 1 walk and striking out 6. Cone allowed 4 hits to New Orleans in the victory.
"It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and New Orleans was on a way, way different page," Cone said.
So far in 14 appearances this season, Cone has recorded 7 wins and sustained 2 losses. He has pitched 87 innings, yielded 70 hits, fanned 73 and has a 2.07 ERA.
