Missions Orlando Miller Will Miss Season
Thursday, June 5th, 1997
When Orlando Miller was hurt against the Colorado Springs Sky Fox, the San Antonio Missions were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 28-year-old second baseman suffered a torn meniscus colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Miller would miss 4-5 months of the season.
Currently Miller is batting .344 with 11 home runs and 43 RBIs.
