Torres Gets Shutout Saturday, April 29th, 1995 Salomon Torres of the Asheville Moonshiners humiliated the Danville Dairy Daddies at Torrance Grounds today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 9 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Danville manager , after the game. Torres whiffed 8 and walked 0 in the 11-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Torres said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In 7 starts this season Torres has registered a 4-2 record and a 3.33 ERA.
