Savannah Befuddled by Sparks Tuesday, June 10th, 1997 The Bluff City Beasties rolled to an easy 13-0 win over the Savannah Swamp Foxes at Paradise Grounds today. Leading the way to victory was starter Steve W Sparks, who shackled the Savannah Swamp Foxes and held them scoreless on a 2-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Sparks said in his postgame press conference. This year Sparks has compiled a 6-6 record with a 6.38 ERA in 16 starts.
