Mieske Wins PAC Best Player Award Monday, June 16th, 1997 All week long Matt Mieske made the highlight reels and made headlines -- his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the Pacific's Player of the Week for his standout performance. Mieske put up a solid set of stats, compiling a .519 average (14-for-27) and contributing 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to claim the honor. So far this year Mieske has hit .295 with 14 home runs, 47 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
