Brown Keeps Hit Streak Alive

Brant Brown of the Danville Dairy Daddies extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 4 hits in today's 18-6 triumph over the Brooklyn Cyclones at Ballpark of Fremont.

"Brant has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Dairy Daddies manager joked after the game.
Brant Brown singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Thus far in 1997 Brown is hitting .299 with 17 home runs, 71 RBIs, 54 runs scored and has compiled a .330 OBP.
