ATL Premier Pitcher is Ocean City's Brewington Tuesday, July 1st, 1997 Jamie Brewington hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Atlantic Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In June the Ocean City starter earned a 5-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 41.2 innings, struck out 31 and compiled a solid 1.73 ERA. To date this year, Brewington shows a 9-4 record, 17 starts, 118 innings, 96 strikeouts and a 4.35 ERA. |
