ATL Awards Best Batter Prize to Jose Monday, July 7th, 1997 It was announced today that Bluff City right fielder Felix Jose has been acclaimed by the Atlantic as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. Jose posted a .417 batting average as he collected 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. This year Jose has batted at a .327 pace with 89 hits, 13 home runs, 56 RBIs and scored 60 times. |
