ATL's Best Player Named Monday, May 8th, 1995 Dwight Smith went on a week-long batting spree against Atlantic pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy. The Brooklyn right fielder battered the opposition for 14 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 7 runs. He hit .583 and posted a .615 on-base percentage. For the season Smith has produced 62 hits in 146 at-bats for a .425 average with 9 home runs and gotten on base at a .488 clip. |
