Urbani Lights Out in Shutout Win Friday, July 11th, 1997 Tom Urbani of the Rochester Red Wings spun his magic on the Ocean City Blue Crabs today. He blanked them 7-0 on 3 hits, registering 5 strikeouts and no walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Urbani said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Rochester skipper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Tom pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. For the season his stats show Urbani has no saves in no relief appearances with a 10-8 record and 4.85 ERA.
