Leftwich Records Shutout Against Nashville Tuesday, May 9th, 1995 Today was Phil Leftwich's turn in the rotation for the Round Rock Express and he made the most of it, shutting out the Nashville Sounds on 7 hits. The 25-year-old right-hander led the Express to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 6 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Nashville manager said.
