Lawton Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, May 11th, 1995 Matt Lawton of the Buffalo Bisons has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 8-3 triumph over Ocean City at Aspinwall Grounds. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Lawton said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Matt Lawton grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 7th. Presently Lawton is batting .335 with 57 hits and 3 home runs.
