Aurilia Gets ATL Batter of the Month Trophy Friday, August 1st, 1997 Rochester Red Wings fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Rich Aurilia put up a remarkable month at the age of 25 and has been named the Atlantic Batter of the Month. For the month, Aurilia hit .378 with 6 home runs, 33 RBIs and 23 runs scored. This year Aurilia has batted at a .330 pace with 148 hits, 13 home runs, 92 RBIs and scored 62 times. |
