ATL's Star Player Named Monday, August 4th, 1997 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Dave Hansen was rewarded with the Atlantic Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Columbus Clippers first baseman hit .500 while collecting 14 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 12 RBIs. This year Hansen is hitting .324, produced 81 RBIs and 12 home runs, scored 91 times and gotten on base at a .416 rate. |
