Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Kelly Monday, August 4th, 1997 Pat F. Kelly has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Ocean City second baseman picked up 1 more today against the Brooklyn Cyclones and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Blue Crabs won the game 9-1. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Pat F.
