Buffalo Celebrates Wild Card Win Thursday, August 7th, 1997 Winning a World Series is no easy task. Winning it as a wild card is even more challenging. But the Buffalo Bisons are up for the challenge. "If we get hot at the right time, it will be tough to stop us," said reliever Tim Fortugno as he celebrated his team's wild card berth. "I think we've got the players and coaches to make it happen."
