Atlantic Southeast Won: Asheville Crowned Saturday, August 9th, 1997 Members of the Asheville Moonshiners say winning the Atlantic Southeast title is special, but ultimately they will only be remembered with a championship season. "We want to put ourselves in the history books and win the World Series," said starting pitcher Jeff Juden. "We all believe it can happen, it's just a matter of putting in the hard work and getting the breaks." It's the 1st division win for the club and they will be vying for their 1st World Series win.
