PAC Star of the Week Announced Monday, August 11th, 1997 Eric Karros went on a week-long batting spree against Pacific pitchers and hauled in the Player of the Week trophy. The New Orleans first baseman battered the opposition for 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and scored 9 runs. He hit .385 and posted a .448 on-base percentage. This year Karros is hitting at a .322 pace with 22 home runs and 70 RBIs. He has played in 75 games and scored 53 times. |
