Saturday, June 3rd, 1995
Alex Arias has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 27-year-old Portland Stag second baseman extended his streak today to 20 games, going 3-for-4 as Portland got the best of the Spokane River Rats at Foxes Ballpark, 9-2.
"Alex has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Stag manager said. Alex Arias singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
