Sojo Honored by Atlantic Monday, June 5th, 1995 It was announced today by the Atlantic that Columbus second baseman Luis Sojo had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .552 batting average, 16 hits and 1 home run. Sojo also racked up 13 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Sojo is currently hitting at a .285 pace with 1 home run, 37 RBIs and has scored 27 times. |
