Polonia Goes on Rampage Against Rainiers Monday, June 26th, 1995 It seemed that San Antonio right fielder Luis Polonia could do no wrong as the Missions KO'd the Rainiers, 17-3 today. Polonia rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Rainiers hurlers were throwing. "I think the Missions were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Tacoma fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Polonia in the postgame press interview. Luis Polonia singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
