Sky Fox Wesson Gone for Year Sunday, July 9th, 1995 The season is ending on a bad note for Barry Wesson, center fielder for the Colorado Springs Sky Fox. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Wesson was hurt against the Salt Lake City Buzz while running the bases. He suffered a ruptured achilles tendon and will be out for at least 8 months. Posting a .180 batting average to date, Wesson has 1 home run and 16 RBIs. |
