Tacoma's Davis Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, July 10th, 1995 Russ Davis burst onto the Pacific stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Tacoma garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .571 (16-for-28) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs last week. This year Davis is batting .333 with 129 hits, 21 home runs, 72 RBIs, 27 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 59 runs. |
