PAC Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 24th, 1995 19-year-old Karim Garcia made a few San Antonio headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Pacific officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 28 at-bats to put up a .429 average. Garcia collected 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In his season totals, Garcia has 21 home runs, .307 BA, .331 OBP, 100 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has played in 103 games. |
