Ocean City Blanked by Fassero Wednesday, July 26th, 1995 Today was Jeff Fassero's turn in the rotation for the Jacksonville Suns and he made the most of it, shutting out the Ocean City Blue Crabs on 8 hits. The 32-year-old left-hander led the Suns to an easy 7-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 6 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Ocean City manager said. "Fassero certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds." Fassero has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-1 record with a 2.37 ERA.
