Buffalo Wins Top Spot in Atlantic Northeast Friday, August 4th, 1995 Bill Wilkinson said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Buffalo Bisons teammates were so excited to celebrate their Atlantic Northeast championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 83-35 record on the season. It is the club's 1st Atlantic Northeast championship and puts them in position for their 1st Hugg Baseball League championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," the team's skipper said, pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
