In an effort to streamline communication and reduce the number of notifications sent out, the Doubleday Baseball League is introducing a new custom notification system. League members can now pick and choose which notifications they want to receive by visiting the #notifications-subs channel and selecting their preferences.

Here’s how it works:

• Game Alerts – Linked to the #around-the-diamond channel, these notifications will provide the league’s regular daily score updates.
• Trade Alerts – A brand-new option that will notify you whenever a trade has been approved.
• Achievement Announcements – Another new channel dedicated to special updates such as power rankings, Player of the Week/Month honors, milestones, and end-of-season voting.
• League Announcements – The only channel that will continue to notify everyone. Reserved for important updates and information all league members need to be aware of.

This system gives each member greater control over how they receive updates, ensuring you stay connected to the information that matters most to you without being overwhelmed by unnecessary pings.
