Federal League – Kal Daniels (Minnesota Twins)
Minnesota outfielder Kal Daniels was unstoppable at the plate, earning Federal League Player of the Week honors. The 32-year-old slugged .600 (15-for-25) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs, sparking the Twins’ offense with his consistent bat. For the season, Daniels is batting .237 with 13 home runs and 35 RBIs.
United League – Ron Gant (Toronto Blue Jays)
Toronto’s Ron Gant powered his way to United League Player of the Week recognition thanks to a strong performance at the plate. The 31-year-old left fielder hit .407 (11-for-27) while adding 2 home runs and 9 RBIs across 7 games. Gant’s season totals now include a .296 batting average, .397 on-base percentage, 19 home runs, 44 RBIs, and 52 runs scored.
