Late Rally by Reds Secures Win
The Cincinnati Reds stopped the Orlando Devil Rays, 10-8, at Orlando Citrus Bowl. The Reds got a big game from Scott Rolen, who went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Reds bumped their record to 50-40 with this latest triumph.

The Reds got a lift from designated hitter Fred McGriff, who in the top of the ninth hit a 2-run single. His 61st hit of the season put the Reds on top, 9-8.

"It was a solid team effort," said Rolen after the game.
