Rolen Helps Reds Run Win Streak to 5
The Cincinnati Reds bested the Orlando Devil Rays by a score of 8-4, with third baseman Scott Rolen getting the main credit. On the day, Rolen went 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Reds. Cincinnati reliever Doug Henry got the win, raising his record to 6-8. Randy Tomlin was tagged with the loss. Orlando has now lost 4 straight.

Tied up with the Devil Rays in the top of the ninth inning, the Reds got a boost from center fielder Dwayne Hosey. With a runner on 2nd, Hosey saw a first pitch forkball from Randy Tomlin and hit a run-scoring double to break the stalemate and put Cincinnati on top, 5-4.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hosey said.
