Reds Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Florida
The Cincinnati Reds picked up a win at Riverfront Stadium, knocking off the Florida Marlins, 7-3. Starting pitcher Jim Abbott, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Cincinnati is in second place in the Federal League East Division with a record of 62-46.

A key moment came with two out in the bottom of the third. That's when Reds third baseman Scott Rolen hit a changeup from Butch Henry for a 2-run home run, putting Cincinnati up, 4-3.

"We had a good game plan," Abbott said, "and we were able to execute it."
