Devil Rays Turn Back Marlins, 5-3
The Orlando Devil Rays topped the Florida Marlins, 5-3, in Federal League action at Orlando Citrus Bowl. The player of the game was Orlando pitcher and Brookline, Massachusetts native Joe Johnson. Johnson got the win, improving to 13-2. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Johnson allowed 3 earned runs. The win puts the Devil Rays at 57-51, while the Marlins drop to 65-43.
