Hrbek Helps Cubs Run Win Streak to 3
Chicago first baseman Kent Hrbek was instrumental in his team's 15-8 win over the Minnesota Twins. Hrbek, who finished 2nd in the UL in hits with 191 in 1986, went 1-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Cubs. Chicago has now won 3 in a row.

Derek Bell's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a slider from Jerry Spradlin for a run-scoring single. It put Chicago in front, 8-7.

"It feels good to get this one," Bell told the Chicago Daily News.
