Losing Streak Continues for White Sox with 6-3 Loss to Twins
|
The Minnesota Twins topped the Chicago White Sox by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Frank Thomas. Thomas was 1-1 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Twins on the day. Rob Dibble notched his 28th save in 31 chances. Minnesota is now riding a 4-game win streak.
Kal Daniels gave Minnesota a good at-bat in the bottom of the first inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double to help send Minnesota to the win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Thomas told the Minnesota Times.
