Creams Need Extra Frames to Get Past Cardinals
The Creams grabbed a win, 4-3, at Busch Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from St. Louis pitcher Scott Erickson. Erickson went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Creams now have a record of 71-56 with the win over St. Louis.

The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Milwaukee first baseman Carlos Delgado. In the top of the 11th inning, with no one out and the bases empty, Delgado drew a walk to help Milwaukee seize the win.

"There's no quit in this team," said Creams manager Sean Norman.
