The Cincinnati Reds cruised to a 18-2 win over the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium today. Eric Davis led the way, going 4-for-6 for Cincinnati. Cincinnati improves to 78-52 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.

Davis put Cincinnati up, 14-2, when he hit a 3-run home run off Terry Mulholland in the top of the eighth. His 30th home run of the season helped the Reds capture the win.

St. Louis manager Adam Rabel said his team was "out of sync."
