Jacksonville and Buffalo played a hard-fought contest at Aspinwall Grounds.

The Jacksonville Suns racked up a win at Aspinwall Grounds, bumping off the Buffalo Bisons, 3-2. Mike Morgan, who started for Jacksonville, pitched effectively for his team. Mark Dewey got the save, the 2nd for him this season.

Jacksonville first baseman Brian Lesher laid a blow when he belted a solo home run in the top of the sixth. It was his 2nd home run of the season. With it, the Suns took a 3-2 lead.

Afterward, Suns manager was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."

With the win, Jacksonville elevates its record to 5-4.
