Bisons Keep Streak Alive With 5-2 Win
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Buffalo Bisons.

The Buffalo Bisons got a strong performance from pitcher Shawn Boskie, who stymied the Ocean City offense en route to a 5-2 win at Fire Dogs Ballpark. Boskie, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Tim Fortugno finished to wrap up his 5th save.

Buffalo needed the clutch hitting of Matt Stairs to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bisons on top, 3-2. For the game, Stairs had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Stairs. "And not try to do too much."

The hot start continues for the defending champion Bisons, who took their 14th win in 18 games this year.
