The Savannah Swamp Foxes and Rochester Red Wings cranked it up at Paradise Grounds.

The Rochester Red Wings beat the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 5-4, at Paradise Grounds. Johnny Damon was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. The 21-year old center fielder was a menace to Savannah all day. The Red Wings, with just their 1st win so far in 1995, have yet to catch fire.

Having an impact for Rochester was Alberto T Castillo. In the top of the 11th inning, the 25-year old catcher had a run-scoring single to make the score 5-4, Red Wings.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Castillo said.
