Foster Whiffs 15, Buffalo Tops Rochester
|
Buffalo Bisons starter Kevin Foster brought his best stuff to Aspinwall Grounds today against the Rochester Red Wings, striking out 15 batters in his club's 10-3 victory.
In a strong performance, the 26-year-old Foster gave up 14 hits in his 9 innings of work and issued no walks.
"I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
Foster has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-3 record with a 3.32 ERA. The Buffalo reliever has limited opposing batters to a .250 batting average.
