Savannah pitcher Rick Helling did his part in helping his team beat the Rochester Red Wings, 7-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Rochester has now lost 20 consecutive games.
Helling delivered a quality start for Savannah. The 6' 3" right-hander allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 9 innings of work.
