The Rochester Red Wings got a strong performance from pitcher Brian Keyser, who stymied the Columbus offense en route to a 1-0 win at Ballpark of Ft. Lauderdale. Jim Pena earned his 3rd save in 3 tries.

Johnny Damon broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Red Wings in front, 1-0. For the game, Damon drew 1 walk.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Damon said.

Even with the win, the Red Wings have a dismal 6-51 record.
